I enjoy thinking about those questions. What kind of world would we have if everyone experienced healthy, loving relationships?
Authentic Connections is a company I’ve formed to help people find loving, romantic relationships - maybe even the love of their lives.
I created this matchmaking service to alleviate some of the pitfalls experienced by today's daters. I am both inspired and distressed by the amazing singles I have met who are navigating the waters of online dating services, only to end up disappointed, disenchanted and distrustful. Perhaps they spent time and energy getting ready for a date and the other person failed to show up or cancelled at the last minute. Perhaps the person who did show up misrepresented their looks or achievements (in other words, was NOT authentic). These experiences can cause one to give up hope of ever finding that special someone to love.
I experienced these feelings after a painful divorce 18 years ago. Since then, I found a wonderful man and we have a beautiful son together. Still, I remember the turbulent and exciting times of meeting new people and hoping for those loving, caring, fun connections.
Why should you trust me? I am a professional woman in my 50s with more than 30 years of experience in the field of psychology. Don't worry, I have NO interest in analyzing you! I'm focused on the strengths of people, not on their limitations. I want to help you harness what works for you and use those traits as you find and develop healthy relationships. If I see things that I believe are limiting you, I'll be sure to let you know so that you can move forward in a positive way.
Authentic Connections is built on the value of having a trusted partner who is not your mother, not your best friend, and not your gossipy co-worker. I want to be that trusted partner for you on your journey to meeting someone to love. I will work closely with you to look at what you bring to a relationship and what you want from one.
I believe in possibilities. I believe in love. I’m committed to helping people find someone special.
I look forward to working with you!
